“Men in Drag”

This project was sponsored with a minigrant from the Mississippi Arts commission (MAC) and the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA).

The concept of this project is about creative exploration of gender identity and expression. The idea is to showcase the beauty and complexity of men who challenge traditional gender norms by putting on clothing and makeup traditionally associated with women.

This series capture the nuances of gender expression and how it intersects with cultural, societal, and personal beliefs. Each painting depicts their individual style, personality, and story.
